ABOUT SIMA PERFORMING ARTS
Sima Performing Arts is a designing and staging theatrical production company in the UAE and across the Middle East. Our warehouse, located in artistic Alserkal Avenue, is home to Sima Dance Company – a pioneer in the exposure of contemporary dance in the region – and holds unique performing arts workshops. Through the vision of founder, artistic director and choreographer Alaa Krimed, Sima Perfoming Arts develops unique theatrical productions and performances that reflect the culture and history of the Middle East. Among our various accolades, Sima was awarded with the winning title of Arabs Got Talent 2014.
Workshops & Classes
Sima Perfoming Arts is committed to providing students of all ages and levels who have a desire to dance with a distinguished program based on contemporary dance practice.Whilst a continued specialism in Contemporary Dance is preferred for the workshops schedule, Sima hosts a company of professional dancers with skills and training ranging across various dance & art forms. Sima’s program can therefore meet a broader requirement for the Dubai community in its programmed workshops.
Productions
We are a one-stop shop for large-scale and high-profile productions and also for more intimate corporate events. We specialize in creative design, talent sourcing, planning and execution of artistic theatrical productions and we provide our clients with end-to-end solutions to meet production needs
The space
Our warehouse is a versatile studio and a performance space. It is a creative powerhouse designed to increasing access to all through dance and art making. On a daily basis, the warehouse operates as a dance workroom where the rehearsals of Sima Dance Company take place. It also holds a dance development program for dancers at all levels
